The quickest way if you use Claude in your browser
Click the download button above to get your skill folder as a .zip file. Unzip it so you have the files ready.
Go to claude.ai and click Customize in the left-hand menu panel. This is where you can add custom instructions and upload knowledge files.
Copy the contents of your SKILL.md file into the custom instructions area. Upload any files from the references/ folder as knowledge files. Hit save — you're done!
Use Claude's built-in skill generator for a hands-off setup
In Claude, click Customize in the left-hand menu panel and make sure the Skills generator toggle is turned on. This lets Claude create and manage skills for you automatically.
Start a new conversation, upload your downloaded SKILL.md and any reference files, then say: "Please create a new skill from these files." Claude will set it all up for you.
For power users using Claude Code or the desktop app with skills directories

Navigate to your Claude configuration folder. On Mac/Linux: ~/.claude/skills/ — on Windows: C:\Users\YOU\.claude\skills\. Create the skills folder if it doesn't exist.
Drag your unzipped skill folder (e.g. brand-voice-strategist/) directly into the skills/ directory. Claude will automatically detect it.
